Birmingham City Acadamy Goalkeeping coach 1997 – current
During this time I have also been on numerous FA organised workshops working with Ray Clemence and Martin Thomas.
I have also run my own private Goalkeeping coaching scheme for 11 years under the name Goalkeeper Development Scheme and also done residential coaching for The Pat Wright Academy.
Strengths
I feel I have the necessary experience and motivation skills to help young goalkeepers reach their maximum potential.
My sessions are well structured ,progressive and realistic to match situations and challenging enough to maintain the level of goalkeeper specific fitness required.
I work hard and have set high standards of expectation.
Over the last few years I have passed approx 30 players onto Centres of Excellence and Acadamies which include my own son Danny who featured in Manchester Utds under 17
Milk Cup winning team and later played 2 years as a pro at Rochdale.
